Greenhope Mourns the Loss of its Beloved Founder Sister Mary Nerney
On behalf of the board, staff, clients and alumnae of Greenhope Services for Women, Inc., we are profoundly saddened by the loss of Sister Mary Nerney, our founder and beloved advocate for women involved in the criminal justice system. We send our deepest condolences to her family. She was one of the first pioneers of woman-centered alternatives to incarceration in NY State and in the country and her legacy continues.
